Either you're being extremely ironic or extremely thick, Jimbo. Which is it?

Hi, i have searched the forums but have not found anything, ... has anyone tried LLM in Ireland as i wanted to try that is it any good?
I have and so have a fair few others - search again or scroll down a few pages to pick up the update threads.

N.Oirn also has a 3-sub rule btw.

I don't know if the way I do it when I manage there is realistic. What I know is that it's a risk I'm quite willing to take.

Unless there's a rule which states you must bring a sub keeper that is. If that were the case I'll change my ways, but otherwise I find it's the only way to give those youngsters some 1st team experience.

It's hard enough to develop talent with a 5 subs policy to complicate it further and only have a 2/3 usable subs because of the 'only 3 men in the bench' rule.

Whenever I play in a 3 sub league, I ask myself how often in the course of a season a normal team uses/needs a sub goalie, and fill my bench accordingly.

I don't think there is a right/wrong policy, to be honest. With 7 subs, it's a no-brainer, with 5, I normally use a GK, but occasionally I'll put 5 outfielders in, with 3 it requires a whole lot more thought.

My point was that the AI wouldn't be odd for picking a sub GK, but is a little odd for putting him in as an outfielder too often, especially if it's because a striker is a wee bit tired.

I have my own ways of dealing with 3 man and 5 man benches, just need to scout the right kinds of players.

I have ways too, but I'm not signing a GK/AML just to make my selection policy easier :p

pfft, clearly you don't appreciate the value of a true GK/SW L

In my Workington FM06 save I have had several outfield players through the years who were more than capable of performing the job if the emergency arose.

Shame they were so hard to find though.
