Default SAD = South American Disaster

Season 1

After my Greek tragedy I decided SA was the place to be so took over at Sao Raimundo starting in the Roraima State league.
In spite of having no transfer funds, a first team squad of 16 & the only winger in the club being a 15 year old, we pretty well played win one lose one and won the state title on games won.

1stCSão Raimundo (RR)148152215+725

This is easy thinks I & launches into the Brazilian 3rd Div group stage full of confidence. Definitely a different league as we race to relegation as quickly as possible.

17thRSão Raimundo (RR)144551214-217

Now I have a quandary as I don’t get the sack but have months to wait till the state league starts again & have no idea how or even if, I can return to the 3rd division. So I patiently begin to rebuild the team, only to get my cards 2 months later.

Season 2

So it’s off to the job centre & I get snapped up by Toledo CW & blow me down! They’re in the 3rd division but not in a state league, so I have another 4 month wait.
Undeterred I try to arrange friendlies but give up after 30 attempts, my scouts scour the country but can’t come up with a single free transfer who will sign for me so after pressing continue a million times I go into the 1st group stage with my geriatric squad (average age 30) We manage to break a few records along the way (all bad ones) & end up thoroughly relegated.

8thRToledo CW1413101126-156

I don’t wait for the chop this time but resign & deciding it might be greener on the other side of a border, I join Alto Peru (don’t be fooled it’s in Uruguay) In the Uruguayan 2nd division.
Now if I thought my last 2 clubs were the pits, I aint seen nuthin’ yet. This lot have 4 players on loan, 3 contracted & the rest of the club is grey.

I fearlessly lead the club to record away defeat 0-8, record home defeat 0-6, record losing sequence 14 matches & needless to say relegation.

16thRAlto Perú2522212280-588

You’ll note from the stats that I achieved relegation with 5 games to spare, I then did the sensible thing & headed unbidden to the job centre.
God only knows where I’ll end up next, but eventually I’ll hit a club at the right time to actually achieve something, I refuse to leave SA until I have.

Could be a long career this one.

I don't get to see the scenery as I tend to leave town at night
