Hmm! In Argentina half a season is a <STRIKE>whole season</STRIKE> Competition, so I've come 7th in my first <STRIKE>whole</STRIKE>half season

River Plate came first of course

Andof Godd scored 16 & brother/cousin Futof got 9, so I'm a happy bunny. We yoyo'd a bit as opposed to aquaplaning & my squad is too small.
I do have 4 players joining in December for the second <STRIKE>whole</STRIKE>half season.

At the end of the whole season the winner of each half which was in fact a whole will play off to decide which is the champion of the whole whole.

Well Pedro did say it was confusing.

I don't expect to be involved in the battle of half/whole but nevertheless am feeling quite (unboastfully) smug.

End of season 5

Greedy chairman couldn't resist the lure of lira so the Godds are both off to the great ice cream factory, for a combined total of £6M

In a fit of pique I blow it all on an AMC & FC, the supporters are underwhelmed by the arrival of Fray & Bentos but we need a bit more beef in the side.

We aren't quite as good from then on but still comfortably make 13th place, the highlight being sinking Belgrano 4-0.

Now concentrate!

We came 7th in the first half & 13th in the second half, this means we come 7th in the whole (Argentinian maths are different)

There's no prize money but our gates have more than doubled from last season to an average 19916.
That makes the finances very healthy & in March I got a new 2 year contract with a wage budget up to £78k and transfer budget of £6M.

I'm in the big time now & the boy from a cocoa farm in Brazil is looking forward to an upwardly mobile career, maybe I'll even get to take River Plate into the Champions League

Addendum

Mexico beat USA 2-1 in the world cup final (2010)
England went out in the group stage.

A week later I'm offered the Brazil job, I naturally decline.

This is quite a spoiler really though, it's unreal & shouldn't happen. After 3 seasons of total failure I've had 2 years of reasonable success,my in game age is 34 :o.

Manager of Brazil? no way
