Tried searching, but found nothing (could be what i searched for being the problem if it is there) so my question is

Is it considered acceptable to build a list of scouting targets from the players listed in the league records (Goals, Passing %, etc) if your not getting much joy from regular scouting options.

I'm a relative newbie to LLM but from what I can gather the only way to find your players is through the scouting of them. No other way is acceptable as far as I'm aware, though I may be corrected by the LLM elders.

Note the usage of the phrase "scouting targets" and not "signing targets", though of course the former can lead to the latter.

To clarify, I am referring ofcourse to the player records within the league I am competing within, and not some totally random league X.

The impression I have always had (although "always" in this context does only mean in the last 6 months or so) is that you can find staff via the Job adverts, and players by the Scouts being sent out and triallists being invited in. No other way will do, no ifs, buts or maybes.
