Default Can you honestly say you've never done this?

Grinned from ear to ear when the boys in blue scored in the first minute, only to realise you're playing in your yellow away strip

Just did it

I do that all the time. Very frustrating.

The thing that is worse though, is that I tend to celebrate when someone scores just after half-time only to find out the teams switched sides and it wasn't my team scoring.

Yes, recently. Though it may be because along with my Fisher Athletic playing in the black and white colours, there are also Cambridge City, Dorchester Town and Salisbury City playing with the same colour, so playing away to those without prior attention does often lead to celebrations from me... for a goal against my side.

Done that quite a few times, yes - catch the red and white flashing text, then realise we're in the yellow away strip.

There's far too many red and white teams in the leagues.......

Not that one particularly, but I am a sucker for celebrating a goal by dancing around the room, then going all defensive to protect the lead only to find out after the match the goal I'd 'scored' had been ruled out for offside.

Actually, I can only remember doing the opposite - see the yellow and blue score against the black and white and think "********... oh wait"
