hi guys.. new to the forum, was just reading through some threads and noticing the astonishment when someone gets back-to-back promotions from lower league divisions.
i started a game with sutton utd (conf. south) and have had continuous promotions all the way to the championship (just won through the league 1 play-offs to get into the championship). now, judging by everyones amazement at getting 2 or 3 promotions in 5 years.. realising i've gotten 4 on the bounce has made me question whether there's something wrong with my game. i play with version 7.0.2 i think, are there any bugs with the update i may have used?

i have not cheated all the way through, as i believe it makes any achievement void.. but yeah :S kinda questioning whether something is wrong with my game!

Sounds like you have done well. Have you read the LLM rules and guidelines at the top of the topics page.. are you playing by these?

I've been playing FM for a few years now but have only just started following these and have to admit its a whole new game to me now.

I'm struggling a bit but satifaction wise it's a whole lot better. I can't play the way I used to, it almost feels like i'm cheating.

The only way I ever brought a team up to Championship in consecutive seasons was by cheating by not saving a lost game. That was in the past. Yes I admit.

I do hope you are not cheating in anyway. Sutton aint a team to go up that fast. People will say Rushden is the team that could get you far easily, hence the use Rushden-not-really-LLM stigma.

i'm not doing this is a windup or bragging. i'd just gotten into teh championship and we started for the first time in my game we are really struggling.. so i searched for an fm forum to try n find some tips.. then when i was reading everyone seemed so amazing at getting 2 promotions in 3 years.. so i thought maybe something was wrong with my game seeing as i got 4 in a row.

whether you believe me or not i dont care, i just thought it might be a bug.

4. Why would you ask for tips if you have achieved four back to back promotions with a crap team?

ok, firstly sorry, i admit i was too impatient to read the forum rules and maybe i have posted in the wrong place. delete my thread if you wish

secondly, i swear on my mothers grave i havent cheated, whether a few randoms on the internet believe me or not im not really too fussed, cheating in any game isnt my style and totally takes the point out of it.

and last of all, just because i had a few typos in my last post doesnt mean im a LOLZ INNIT kwl d00d. i dont type like that. ever.
