Hey, I just joined up today, read the headers and browsed through a few of your threads here and I can see you're quite harsh to some idiotic people.

Just three questions before I jump in to LLM.

When looking for players to purchase, is it fair game to take a look through the players whos contracts have expired on player search?

Ive tried using the job centre a few times while in game and it always brings back staff who belong to other clubs and I would have to pay compo. Is there no legit way of finding unemployed staff?

Not related to LLm rules but when I send my scout out he brings back decent results, if I send him out on the same search E.g look around Wales, he brings back identical results. Is there a fix for this?

Player search is not generally accepted as the LLM way.

The job centre in FM06 isn't that good, so using player search to find staff is accepted. In FM07, the job centre is much improved

Keep the advert open for a while - see what happens

Don't use player search is the rule.

I just made the mistake of sacking my carp scout before advertising for another, nobody has applied so I'm stuck. The job advert stays in and I get no new players.

Life's a bitch but so's LLM sometimes, live with it.

I don't understand your problem with scout results, sending him round Wales 43 times in a horse and carriage won't make him find what's not there. You'll just get better reports on the ones he does find.
Every now and then he'll turn up some extras but they don't have factories in Wales producing footballers.

Actually we do, it's our secret plan for World Domination (Copyright Evil Managers 2007) come the 2030 World Cup Finals. I'm afraid you've stumbled onto our plan Mr Kriss, and now I'll be forced to explain the entire scheme in great detail while you make good your escape..

Awwwww I missed out the hysterical laughter, the laser beams, the glamorous yet deadly girl, the "funny" henchman.

Guess I'm not cut out for this Bond villian lark

I thought there were Welsh factories that produced sheep and leeks.

How else would there be so many of the ****ers?

Does the ****ers pertain to the number of sheep, leeks, Welshmen or all of the above?
