Did FMH 2006 have the same database size as 2007?

I only ask because I remember people were saying at the time that there were a lot of good Brazilian youngsters in the game, but in FM 2007 I can hardly find any (Kerlon is the only decent one I've found so far).

I expect it has the same size, not sure though.

For some reason, different players appear for different clubs. I even had more Brazilian Clubs turn up when I went to Porto, and more players.
Okaka (AS Roma) was there when I played as Juventus, but haven't seen him on any other game.
