is this years game the most difficult yet.imo it is i am finding it alot harder to win trophies,for example i have been both chelsea and valencia and got sacked without winning anyhing but in previous versions i tendered to win trophies quite early on.

I find that it is harder than the past games, but that may be down to the bugs like the offside bug.

wait for the patch, a lot of things will be sorted since many areas of the engine is unbalanced as it stands now (if you play without beta patch).

I'd tend to agree, this is the only edition I have won nothing in my first season with a top team.

I would agree that when it first came out i thought it was very difficult, was probably due to the offside dissallowed goals and also the card happy refs!.

I am now currently playing with beta patch 2 (27mb one), and the more i have played it the more I have came to accept that yes it is hard, but why shouldnt it be! not an easy job in reality, and we wanted realism. Now i'm not saying I havent moaned, cos i have, lol. I play with my team Newcastle United, first season I finished 7th, 2nd i finished 7th and won the carling cup, << if i do that in reality im a hero up here, but i dont get mobbed for autographs or photos, why not? Its a computer game like, albeit a fantastic one, and its great fun I always have a laugh at myself later on at getting so frustrated with the game, which is let us all agree is what really keeps us addicted and coming back.

So after a dodgy start i think this game is pretty good at what it does, yes there are some small bugs remaining but im sure the lads n lasses at SI are doing their best and will sort it for us, then we can give them a break maybe.

Do what I did, I got frustrated early on, so I learned how to make a skin while they worked on a patch, now I have my own custom skin, spend your time wisely people.

it is indeed, I couldn't play it like I could play the other games, I've started having to use slightly different formations for home and away games, plus wait until the summer to make signings, as i used to do it in spring. i discovered this was a mistake after a horrific start to the season, and a hunt for emergency recruits in august revealing much better targets. if only I had been doing this at the start rather then discover it after 2 seasons, and after 3 defeats at the start of the 3rd...

hats off for making it a challenge though
