It'd just occured to me, that every year we buy the latest version of FM and have to start our manager profiles from scratch. Sure we can choose to be an ex pro or sunday leaguer, but how about this option?
Import your manager from the previous version.
Not the save games or anything like that, just your manager profile and history. A pointless thing maybe, but our rep and stats wouldn't start from the beginning each year we buy FM, after all, the other managers have historys, along with the other backroom staff and of course the players, so why not us?

Maybe he just wants to carry over his previous game's manager reputation, attributes and relevant history that matches up.
Along the same lines, although not being a exemplary feature at all...how about being able to start out as an existing manager?
It may not be fair as Sir Alex, Wenger, etc. but it's gives a slight reality boost if you want. I always feel a little odd that a 28-year-old obscure American is managing Liverpool. (with the current owners though, maybe it could be possible)
Personally, I've been clamoring for the option to import a saved game from a previous version every year since CM4. There are many games that allow it and I thought when SI linked up with Out of the Park Baseball, that it was around the corner. Apparently not.
