Any way to speed up the 2D match engine?
My computer is fairly fast (Quad Core 2.8ghz, 2 gigs of RAM) and so I dont think the speed of the 2D match engine is my computers fault - but on Match Speed set to maximum, the 2D match engine is still SIGNIFICANTLY slower than it was in 2007. Any ideas on how I can speed this up? Is it THAT much more complex this year? It's at least 5 times slower if not more than last year. I am using Windows Vista.

Move the Highlights bar under the Match Speed bar and that should work.

there are sliders on the left, one for the speed the minutes go by and the other for the speed of the highlights.

Try stopping some of the processes running in the background. This might help.

Moving the highlights slider worked, I should clarify. I thought that slider was for the amount of highlights, not the speed.
