i was trying out various skins but in the process i have managed to lose the default skin. is there anyway i can get it back?

Back up your saved game, inistall and reinstall, unless someone hosts the default skin for you, i don't have the game installed i would have sent it you other wise.

The default skin is a copyrighted part of the FM2008 CD-ROM so any sending or hosting of it isn't a good idea.

Any problems you have can be solved with a re-install as stated.
