Hi all, this is my first post in the forums, been playing FM for ages now, added to that made some changes, few slight editorial points etc etc. What I was wondering is, a lot of countries have, overall, a much higher percentage of world class players emerging from them than others, say Argentina/Brazil compared to Thailand for instance. Is there any way or modifying the game so that the youth players produced in game (in future seasons) reflect this in PA? i.e Gremio/Internacional et al will have a much, much higher chance of producing future world stars?
It may well be associated with reputation of the country, but I dont know! If anyone could help, that'd be great!
Thankyou very much, I have a tendancy to choose Internacional (my Brazilian side) or Portsmouth (my 1st choice supported side), and well, Internacional dont seem to produce too many players of great quality, maybe 3-4 making it after 3years - especially with the level of the squad currently employed. Portsmouth however, even with their future youth academy/youth facilities, are still producing a fair amount of duds, save those who are already accepted as being future class(Giovanni Torre etc)
Ill have a look around and see what turns up! Any more info, greatly appreciated! =)
If you want to achieve best results, you have to max out reputation, economic factor, and league standard, as well as changing game status to very important, and economic status to developed. It also helps to go through every single team from that country (or at least a few of them, since all England's teams would be simply overwhelming) and boost their reputation and facilities, since clubs produce mostly regens from their country. This approach, taking into account the club aspect as well as the national aspect as a whole, seems to yield the best results.
