I have tried to create a player who is very strong rated for both left and right feet.

If I use 20 and 20 the player arrives as v.strong for the right foot and reasonable for the left (about a 20-14 split).

As a second attempt I tried 19 and 19 which gave me fairly strong for the right foot and v.strong for the left ( a 13-20 split)

Is there something I am missing here?

depending on age you can never make a two footed player unless he's at least 25. Also make sure few other stats are 20 as theres a limit to how many points you may distribute overall.

Didn't realise there would be an age limitation, but I guessed that points allocation would come in somewhere.

I'm 14 and I can kick basically perfectly with both feet.

no.. no you can't. If you did you'd be in some awesome youth team. You might have 9/9 (equally good on both feet.) but you do not have 20/20 (perfect with both feet)
So my question would be. For a perfect kick I require you to hit the bar 3 out of 5 times. can you do that? with BOTH feet?

I'm in Cambridge United Centre of Excellence, anyway...with a few goes from the penalty spot I bet you I could.

With lots of practice, probably anyone could kick with two feet anyway.

Of course when you are 14 your muscles aren't developed enough to have that sort of ability. That usually comes around 24-26. You see as your muscles develop your kicking ability will differ. a friend of mine was mad at taking freekicks in the 6th grade, now he's awful, mostly never hitting the intended target. So yeah. It does change with age. And sinc FM is supposed to be realistic a two footed player will not be in existence until he's about that age. 21 is posible at the least though. But that would require a lot of point allocation tweaking, I think you have 845 to give out in total or something.

Penalty spot <_< I'm talking outside the box here, at least 17 yards preferably midfield. Anyone can guide the ball from the penalty shot. But yeah, I'm impressed. Kicking perfectly is an illusion though. There are no players in this world that has that ability. twoo footed players are usualy 17/17 at most.
