i played barca this monring and got sacked in november. they get crazy if u dont win every game and i lost 3 games in row against crap teams haha fun!!!
only results i got was with 4-4-2 with wingers messi and ronaldinho.
barca have an super team and mayby need one more super striker only.
i played about same settings as u.
try put tight marking on every one and zonal marking. exept strikers.
and make the def line higher up and try use target men and runto ball - henry,etoo as t mens.
i made alot of goals some games 5-0, 6-2 and so on. but i had trouble away and often let 2 back fast and then it was over.
Maybe I can help here a little. I am currently blowing everyone away with Barcelona.
My teams instructions are similar to the original poster except d/line at home is higher to put pressure on the ai and as a result I have more possession and from that opportunities.
There is a little drop down menu on the tactics page that I used that has something like: "set as" where you can set positions.
I used that as a starting point for each position and then tweaked where I saw necessary.
So Henry/Eto'o for example it would be 'set as fast striker' and then from there I would look at things like long shots and crossing and compare with their attributes for parity.
i like playing 442 diamond (dmc,amc, 2 wingers) do u think i would be able to use that tactic with barca if i play ronnie in amc could i play messi etc at ml or would it have to be aml
