Ok, so I created the tactic, tried it out, but it seems it's not working for me. First game and I conceded 6 goals in under 40 minutes against a weaker team.

Maybe it was because I had the DC's instructions switched, going to try it out now in the right way.

Well, I have to say i'm impressed. I just changed the DC instructions and played the same match (away) and ended up winning 2-1 (conceeded my goal through a controvertial penalty). I had more possession, more SOG and SOT, and enjoyed the overall performance, except for my left MC (wich is a DMC actually). I also noticed my man-marking DC and wingers did a great job putting the opposition out of play.

I can see potential here. I'll keep you posted.

Joor, let me tell ya, THANK YOU! For the first time i'm liking the way my team plays. Not only i'm winning matches (5 in a row, 4 away and 1 at home), but i'm playing beautiful football. My players are performing really well, and i'm tinkering with it as I go. Man-marking those key players are really the secret to the success, and that combined with Opposition Instructions lets you take out the main threats.

I'm playing with Vit. Guimarães, in the Portuguese League. It's my fourth season (Promotion, 8th, 3th) and now i'm sitting at top, 4 points clear from 2nd at the 6th round, best attack, best defence, and playing nice footie.

I just need to improve my set pieces instructions, as I haven't scored one yet. Any suggestions?

Nice thread Joor and well done with your tactic, although alot of what you wrote was recycled uuhmm from Marz's old thread KUTGWAjax System – AFC Ajax – 1990s

I have been working on an Ajax tactic also with moderate success so far but still needs a bit of work. Basic shape of tactic

I have tried this tactic with Tottenham, I was already going well, but this tactic and the ideas it gave me helped me finish 3rd and win the UEFA cup in the second season.

Im going to try it for a full season and also see what benefits the training gives. Will need new coaches.

I realise the idea has been talked about before but Joor has given his settings in a very simple manner, there is no need for it to be a download as he explains it in so much detail.

Hi, can i know how many assists and goals your dc/DMC has?

I tried implementing the dc/dmc into my 4-4-2. But my dc/dmc is always caught out when an oppositions lobs a ball to the FC. You have any advice for me?

Tried it with Valencia in La Liga, but it didn't seem to work. Even against weak sides, we struggle to get shots on target, and against stronger sides, we're conceding far too easily.
