I'm currently playing with ajax but with a dmc instead of an amc because i want my wingbacks to join in on the offence.

also my wingers are in the real FL and FR positions, no arrows. It's really working out for me, my wingers never seem to get marked at a cross : ).

havent been able to get my central defenders to join in on the attack not with arrows, mentality or anything else so i'll give you're method a try. I'd really like to see maduro play a libero ( koeman scored 1 every 2 matches as a central defender ) kind of role.

all in all i'm gonna give you're system a try. i might just use 3 upfront with no arrows but i'll definitly give the midfield system a try.

What you have to do is count the notches on each slider. In other words if you are starting with mentality for instance, push the slider all the way to the left, that is 1, and then notch it up to the number stated.

If you want the DC/DMC to join the attack then set hes mentality to 14 and forward run to often. I only use this when the opponent play with a single striker.
Also the defensive line could be raised to a higher value when you play against a defensive 5-4-1..to keep the ball in the oppositions half.

There is a viewing option for mentality per player. These are shown in the numbers IIRC

good basics, working well in the instructions for my 451 midfielders are scoring more goals, not putting to much pressure on the striker to score.

wingers are in ML MR with 1 space Farrow.
