FM08 disappoints me 'Tactically'. Are you the same?
I made a thread about it in the GQ section to voice my concern and disappointment about how the tactical options/tools we have to communicate what we want from our team and players tactically on the pitch is the same as it was in 07 and has seen no new changes by the looks of it!!
You guys in this section being more 'tactical-minded' like myself than the average FM player however, I thought I'd bring it to your attention if you haven't already seen it and see if you agree.
Read THIS, so you can see what it is I'm disappointed with and not misunderstand my area of concern.

No offence but that kind of comes across as a little arrogant.
Anyway moving on... The match engine for 07 was pretty good post-patch so 08 is merely building on that by tweaking 'under the bonnet' so to speak. There is a noticible difference in the match engine in the way the players move and for the most part it is a positive change.
There are obviously things that need a good patching but if you are disappointed that there are no new sliders or boxes to tick it is likely because they are happy with the interface options as they are at the moment.
Personally other than that I am reserving full judgement on the match engine until it is patched and we can play it as is intended.
