Now in regards to Team Talks, I feel they are extremely important, especially against Close Rivals &/or In Derbys. By using the CORRECT Team Talk option, It can make or break a game in a matter of a 1 single button Press. The Half Time team talk is just as important and could very well gee your lads up at Half Time depnding if you are winning or on the losing side leading into the Break.
Of course I use 'I expect A Win' If I am playing against a side in 10th or Below (that is if I am in good form or even up in the top 3 or 4 in the league). BUT and this is a Huge BUT !! If i am playing against my Main Rivals or Everton (I am Managing Liverpool obviously) Then for my team talk I use 'DO It for the fans'. Now your half time team talk would depnd on if you are winning or losing. But generally follow the same trend.
Now for the Opposition Tactics, If my opponent has a classy, well known Striker who is a general match winner or even a quite decent Midfield who can supply deadly passes to their forwards then I generally use Tight Marking (Always) & Closing Down (Always). If there are no stand out threats then I generally don't bother.
Yes as you can see I lost 2 games in a row midway there but 1 was only the League Cup which was then I had a very rough deal with the Referee during that game. But as You can also see, I bounced back quite well pretty much straight away.
If I am drawing/losing by 1-2 goals @ Half Time, I NEVER Give Up. I just usually sub 2-3 players in the positions they have a 6 match rating with, but if I am losing I tend to sub a Midfielder & Striker & Defender. ALways keep the GK as Reina Is CLASS ! Now if I am winning @ Half Time, I just change a Striker who has the lower rating of the 2 strikers on the pitch.
Now seeing how this is my first couple of posts and my 1st Official Thread, I really do not know what else to type, so some advice would be great fellas/gals.
how is it in terms of possession? the real problem i have is trying to keep the ball. even if i play short/slow i'm still regularly getting 35-45% possession while the likes of Reading and Wigan dominate in that regard against me (though i do tend to have a better cutting edge in that i tend to get just as many or more Shots in)
