I have found this game to be frustrating when you reach a certain level of success.

If I am by far the best team the other team will come and sit back and launch counter attacks which is fine - but they do often get good success from it, more so than IRL.

If you select the right 'tweaks' you can overcome 90% of these matches, but there are the odd few which I think the AI forces you to lose.

I'm not sure. When I'm in the position that the AI tends to screw you from I can get my own fair share of "undeserved" wins.

I agree it's a flaw in the match engine (at least in the way it's represented), but it's perfectly possible to do it yourself.

I suppose, I sometimes know I have my tactics spot on though and still lose.

If I am playing proper I can go through season losing about 5games max, I think the game is not very hard, I hope FM08 is more challenging.

My challenge at the moment is trying to come up with a tactic which needs no tweaking but it's near impossible to make one that suits all.

I also can't resist tweaking even when I promise myself I won't, especially when I can see what is going wrong.

I think I may start one last challenge before having a brake on FM and waiting until FM08 comes out. I've never taken charge of a non-league team and won the Prem, might have a go at that. Can anyone recommend a team to play with? anyone else fancy a challenge?

I'm going to post the league table as it is before i take over the responsibility of team talks.

The above table is after the last result i posted, the 1-1 draw with Watford.

I'll post after my next 5 games after following tour instructions!.

Chopper - Have'nt played much, as i've been busy, but did win my next 3 games and lost my last 1-0.

In the 1st match i tried it, i was drawing 1-1 with Everton and could'nt see what your instructions were in this case?, although i did win 2-1.

Also in the game i lost, i was 1-0 down at HT, but the better team, you said to "encourage", but it was'nt an option so i went with "i expect more" and we were also the better side 2nd half, but had 2 goals disallowed and did'nt score?.

just wondered if you could post your training schedules as well as through reading many posts this can go hand in hand with your tactic.

p.s also do you do your own team talks now not after these lol just now when trying other people tactics getting as much info on what they do can be a big help
