I have NO complaints about the tactic mate, i can see it working in the games i watch and in the match stats etc.

My problem lies completely with the game itself, there's no better way to say that it sucks!.

Here are the HT stats from my latest game away to Everton.

Surely i dont need to say anymore than that?.

This is simply what you have to put up with when you play the game as a weaker side. It does'nt matter who you sign, how you play etc etc, its just part and parcel of this awful game!.

My point was it wasn't domination, despite Hammer always complaining that he dominates. In this game he didn't. It was a decent effort, not denying that, but it wasn't domination.

However, those later games are just a complete joke.

I've actually found it's part and parcel of having a good team, not a weak one. With a weak team I can play tight counter-attacking football which this game loves. With a semi-decent unfancied side you can grind your way up the league.

It's when you start having to play more expansive that the game punishes you.

In most of the games I've played outside the "big 4" in the Premiership (granted, that's only on one save, three seasons with the Villa), the bigger teams weren't a problem - it was those teams just below them (Tottenham, Everton, Newcastle) that caused me massive problems, because tight football didn't break them down and expansive football got exploited.

Without wanting to turn this into another "teh game sux" thread, I still think there is something fundamentally different in the approach of people who (claim) don't have this problem, or don't see this problem and those that seem unable to counter it.
