Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Your training in preseason is very important. Furthermore ensure that players get adequate aerobics training once the season starts.

Ideally your preseason training includes intensive training in Strength and aerobics...once the season starts any schedule you use should incorporate at least medium intensities for aerobics and strength. As the season wears on reduce strength and reduce aerobics, but still maintain them in the medium range.

In the early part of the season, players appear to need a bit more conditioning, and its normal to see players around 90-95 for most, but after 15 games or so you should be seeing players start matches at around 95 for most and some should be 100.

I'm playing a game with Nottingham Forest and many of my players don't recover beyond 90, despite a good training regime and a week between games. It's pretty annoying as I've bought in some real talent at a cheap price... but can I get them fit, can i balls!
