Hi all,

Sometimes, when playing with AC Milan (FM07) i change 4x3x2x1 (christmas tree formation) to 4x4x2 diamond. Let´s take an example:

Dida
Oddo
Nesta
Maldini/Kaladze
Jankulovsky
Pirlo (MDC)
Gattuso
Ambrosini/Seedorf (MC left side)
Kaká
Inzaghi
Gilardino

Normally, when playing with Inzaghi and Gilardino i use these settings:

Forward Runs (FWR) - often
Run with Ball (RWB) - mixed
Long Shots - rare
Through Passes - rare
Crossers - rare

When i want more width and crosses from flanks, i just give FWR often to Oddo/Jankulovsky (+ RWB mixed, Crosses often mixed - byline and deeper).

Problem is my 2 strikers (Inzaghi/Gilardino) have naturally tendency to go to flanks, receiving the ball. But, i want them at center at all costs. I prefer Oddo could create movements with Gattuso (right side) and Jankulovsky do the same with Seedorf or Ambrosini.

Can i solve problem giving FWR rare to Inzaghi and Gilardino? Maybe that way they run less and maintain their position on opponent area? What could i do when playing 4x4x2 diamond?

have inzaghi to play mixed FWR, rwb often, TTB rare cross rare shots rare and play him 2 notches higher than gilardino.

gilardino will play FWR rare, rwb often, TTB mix, long shots mix\rare, cross rare.

this way inzaghi is your ST and will get the positions of scoring and gilardino will feed him\ create himself scoring positions, and also get the ball from midfielders and might give it back to the wingers so they could cross.

Hmmm, i´ll give it a try altough Inzaghi don´t have much pace and dribling skills and normally i set him with RWB mixed.

oh, I was thinking inzaghi was the one should take the ST role, well you could either way switching between both^^ tell me if that worked
