Nearly finished six months, two games left. He's highest rated Newcastle player with four goals and three man of the match awards (well close to those, not bothering to check specifics) - too good, but he'll do for me.

Some observations I've made while playing numerous games as Newcastle boss.

As we start off with so little cash, I always try to raise some by selling who I can.
Given - set his asking price to 8.5 mill - Bayern always match that - any higher, they wont.
Carr - sell for 1 mill - usually Reading
Babayaro - 250k to Bolton
Bramble - 500-600k to Rangers
Moore - cant give him away
Dyer - between 2.2mill and 4mill - Villa etc
N'Zogbia - 6.5mill to Chelski
Luque - 375k is the most Ive got for him - Osasuna
Solano - 1.9mill Sampdoria a few times
Ameobi - 1.9mill various teams, particularly Charlton

I've not sold any of the others but I've had good offers for Parker, Martins, Emre and so on.
Now, I'm not saying you want to, or ought to sell any of those players but with a lack of any funds (which I find odd, considering we were making late big bids for Huth, Viduka etc) these are some options.

I must say, I always sell Nobby, and replace him with Sherman Cardenas, wonderful player.
Brian McBride is great value for 150k and better than Sibierski, who I forgot on that list and will sell for 1.5mill easily.
I have to admit, I'm only 6th place with a few changes, we're definitely not a prem champs side.
If you get the cash, Marchena is a great defender and available for 3.6 mill, Maduro, again around that price, two young Chilian players, a left back and CB, forget their names, both cracking young players.

Cheers.

After watching every sorry second of Sunday's debacle against Bolton, I've come to the conclusion that Bramble's concentration and anticipation stats should be reset to 2.

Yes, I saw my first game in April 1979, and they've been driving me mad ever since.

Guys, Roeder was never the right man, I sure hope your starting to realise that we're going to be dragged into a relegation dogfight, its breaking my heart, wasting 300Quid on a season ticket.

Also the right players haven't been bought for this season. I mean Martins is never going to be a 20+ goal a season man and neither will Ameobi be. There also needs to be more service for the strikers you have. I would have thought a winger should have been bought in. If i was the manager i would revamp the defence as well.

So basically i would only really keep Given, Parker, N'Zogbia, Martins and Solano. That's my thoughts anyway you probably disagree.

Solano past it, but Milner and Duff provide perfect service, shame no-one in the side can head a ****ing ball.

Forgot about Duff and Milner.

The real problems are the defence and Forwards though. Defenders that can't defend and Forwards that can't score aren't ideal.
