I'm going to get the game sometime this week i think maybe even today, i'll keep you posted on how i get on.
It was very strange man u's league position and a bit unrealistic but htat is the first time on fm i have seen a top club finish as low as that , what was good i beat man u home and away and you have got to be happy with that .

I have a tip for any toon fans playing this dont bother messing with the player instruction loads when i played fm05 and fm06 the best tactics i created i would have all players with there own instructions but with this i faired better in games with just team instructions .

Hi, I'm a big NUFC fan thanks for all the advice. You know Roeder is reading this thread for advice! Thanks for the ideas.

Dyer, Bramble, Solano, Butt out. Most of the others worth a try. Try and bring through Pattinson and Huntingdon who both look excellent!

im in jan 2008 now..after half a season i went on holiday for a year wich i shoulndt have done....I got sacked really quikly while on holiday so i had to rejoin the club when i came back after a year. And they bought some really shitty players!

My current line up is
GK Given
Rb Mark Wilson(didnt buy myself)
CB Stuart Taylor
CB Richard Dunne(really ***** and of course didnt buy myself)
LB Wayne Bridge
DM Malaury Martin
AMC Vilakazi
AML Duff
AMR Miller
ST AMeobi
ST Claudio Pizzaro(didnt buy myself)

I still have Martins*3 months out) and scottparker (6 months out)

And no transfer money at all.. and the club is skinned.. So its quite a battle!

On my game, the strike force is unstoppable.
I was looking to try and get some funds to buy a target man for Martins to play off, but Sibierski has 18 goals to his name already and I'm only mid-way through November.
Martins has 20.

Me too. I think the general idea with this team is to sell Babayaro, Emre, Dyer, Solano, Butt, Bramble and rebuild the defence as a matter of priority.

Martins seems to be a great player, Owen (apparently) will want to leave when he gets back. Taylor, Ramage, Carr worth keeping I think (however Carr is perhaps easily replaced)

Midfield is ok and you can earn some money trimming down the stars (Dyer etc) Would recommend people look at Paul Mayo from Lincoln as back up for LB, and Lee Frecklington as a squad player both from Lincoln.
