i am portsmouth in the first season and i am trying to sign cassio from psv, he has accepted a contract offer but i can't get a wp for him. i read you can send him to a feeder team until he is ready. i am currently searching for a feeder team, but if i can't get a work permit so he is not technically mine, how can i send him to a feeder team.

Well first you need to have a 'work-permit feeder club' as it is called. These are feeder clubs in countries like Poland, Belgium, Spain. If you have one in any of these countries, then when his application for a WP gets turned down, you'll get a notice saying "application has been turned down but you can send him to a feeder club until he is eligible" (or something like that). Here you'll have the option of accepting or cancelling the deal. If you accept, he'll be included in your squad list but obviously ineligible.

Now right click on him and there'll be an option "move to affiliate". Hover the cursor there and you can select your WP feeder club to send him to.

However, if you DONT have a WP feeder club, then you wont be allowed to sign him. You'll just an option saying "application has been turned down" and that's that. Cant do anything about it.
