Anyone know what age players retire? I suppose most of them will vary but is there any particular bracket for the different positions like strikers, midfielders etc?
Anyone playing as Barca and some way into the game, any idea what age Henry retired? And to the ones playing as Arsenal, what about Gilberto Silva? Henry is 32 now in my game and he's still going great guns. I'm sure he'll perform at the top of his game this year too but doubt if he'll be able to do it next season. And since I've too many quality young strikers, I cant afford to keep playing and ignoring them.
Also, how do I get the players to get interested in taking up coaching? Gilberto Silva has the "seriously thinking of taking up coaching" bit in his long-term plans but when I use the interaction option to say that I think he'll make a good coach he comes back with a "just want to concentrate on playing" response. Anyone care to explain how this works? Cheers!
In my game Henry retired at 33 and Silva at 35. Neither are coaches in my game. I think retirement is a bit random and as long as the team wants them I guess, I had signed Cambiasso at 28 and he retired at 30 on me.

It wasnt because of injuries was it?? Cambiasso might have retired because he got a serious injury? Or was it just out of the blue?? Thanx for the reply.
im barca and i think im in my 6 season or something (its 2013) and henry still hasnt retired yet and its ****ing me off coz the assistant manager still says hes my strongest striker and it doesnt help any of my young players come through like bojan.
henry is about 35/36ish now and he STILL HASNT RETIRED!!!!!!!!
