What don't you understand about the statement "No discussion", Magoo?
Jordi...is it quite understandable to you?

I'd say yeah boss.
No discussion as in not talking anymore about it nor trying to pick holes around it, isn't it? |

I'm putting you on ignore. You obviously aren't interested in making the effort for those without English as their native language, so I aren't interested in anything you have to say.

To Magoo: The accepted practice in this forum is to use proper punctuation so as to assist our friends for whom english is a second language.
To Nobby: I must say, if you go back to your original post there was a severe case of cynicism. While your comments are correct, there are more diplomatic and civil ways of expressing your point.
To everyone: Clearly there are regular windups going on. One needs only to look at the number of rubbish threads that are started every day. However, I must say the natural tendency to lash back makes all of us look like an inhospitable lot. Which is made worse when newbies take a cue and jump on the flaming bandwagon like a lynch mob.
Can I suggest that perhaps we ought to be polite in our comments. Where a clear wind-up occurs we just ignore it and allow the moderators to go about their business of closing the threads or deleting comments.
My two cents will be deposited shortly into the LLM trust fund.

As Nobby has pointed out many users of this forum do not have English as thier main language.
Are you aware Nobby that Chinese people will only be confused by your insistance on proper capilisation, as they don't use them when writing. Pictograms representing whole WORDS tend not to include such minor details.
I'm not saying the OP is Chinese, i'm just making an observation on cultural differences in writing styles in an effort to better educate you within this multinational medium.

I'm Chinese, I need the capitalizations in English.
You write Chinese, you try your best if it's not your first language to write the words with the correct strokes and visibly for other Chinese readers.
In English, and in this LLM fora, if English is a language you are comfortable in, whether first, second or third language, you type it out with clear syntax, punctuation and capitalization.
I'm not in a kiddie IRC and honestly, I did not read initial post because of the swimming words.
Detective with poor eyesight, clean up your posts, and you will do fine. Lay off Nobby. He's actually treating you with much more respect then many plurks that have come in here.

We are not saying you need to be a professor of English in order to post here, but respect the users who do not speak English as their first Language. Sure, we all are going to mis-spell words or forget a capital letter every now and again, that's fine.
But how about instead of "A few missed caps isn't going to stop people reading" your attitude is more like "Oh right ok, I will bear that in mind when I am posting"
Nobody really needs to discuss this any further, it's set in stone.

| What he said - manners cost nothing and for a man fresh off a warning, Nobby, I'd expect a bit better.

Why is everyone picking on Nobster?
This isn't a toilet bowl, it doesn't need sanitizing. In all the years I've posted in and Moderated LLM there's been tongue-in-cheek sarcastic comments, many will say it's one of the more endearing qualities of posting in here.
Simon's original comment was absolutely fair in the first instance, the first post is abysmal in its lack of capitals and random punctuation.
The subsequent posts by Magoo show what kind of a "**** everyone, I'm lazy and I don't care" attitude he has, and he escalated the discussion instead of saying he'd endeavour to post in recognisable and readable English, petulance isn't an attractive trait.
The comment on "pictograms" in the Chinese language has no bearing in here, the language in here is English, English has capitals, as Breem said he wants to read proper English, not some bastard version of it.
Simon is capable of crossing the line, when this happens the Mods will deal with it...as always.
I suppose the question is, would one prefer ill-educated or lazy illiterates posting in here or guys who occasionally stray on the snappy side of decency?
