Default Help with FM05

I've just got into FM05 (yes, old I know!!). I've started managing Bristol Rovers. My problem is, basically my team, especially my strikers, waste chance after chance.

I get several good chances to score every game, including many one-on-ones with the keepers, and my players just put the ball feet wide, worst culprit being *A PLAYER*.

Does anybody have any ideas how to get my team to at least get the ball on target?!

Wrong forum to ask for tips, fella.

Have a look at the good player guide, unless you decide to try the LLM way (which is in the header and all the stickies)

Sorry about that, should have read the stickies before posting.....my bad.

I guess it's just down to frustration after watching my team waste umpteen chances per game and I'm currently languishing in 23rd!

Although I should be used to teams wasting loads of good chances....I'm a Southampton supporter!

Another bewbie making a mistake and apologising.

He can speel and punctuate too. If we ignore the player naming, I think we should lock the door before he gets away, (or at least invite him back again)

At least one of you can speel.

He almost spokes english proper too. Apart from the "..m* **d".

Posible second post rule.

s's in short supply then Scott

I really need to know in what context that phrase is used, is he apologising for his bad breath, bad typing skills, bad choice of club to support, or is there something else?

I was apologising for jumping straight in and not reading the stickies, and then breaking 2 golden rules of LLM (asking for tips and player naming!).

So, I will now apologising for using a stupid American phrase (the m* **d one), which I should not have used seeing as I'm not American (but the stupid but, I'll let others be the judge of that!).

Having had a proper look at the stickies, I like the look of playing the LLM way - it looks a good challenge. Although I'll wait until I've bought FM07, because I'll be able to play as Eastleigh then (as I'm originally from Eastleigh, and they didn't get to the Conference South until the 05/06 season).
