I've been doing the following throughout my save, and I didn't think anything of it, until I realized that I never saw the computer doing the same, and I have no idea what the actual FA rules would be.

The scenario:
A player is on a season-long loan with a club. During a transfer window, I sign the player, the loan is terminated, and the player joins my squad.

This is OK, right? Or am I supposed to wait until the loan ends?

That's okay.

it only works though if that player in question has an active "can be recalled" clause in his loan deal.
