Unaible to spell correctly after the few straight gins and martini's dries i absorbed, i had a walk through all the forums,and didn't know to post this thread. I am a modest LLM'er, I love to bring small teams to the top, even though i rarely succeed, so i hoped that you guys could help me out. The thing is, I mostly play a lower league where there's no competion for the reserve or -19. So, i try to book a season full of friendlies for those chaps. However, when i try to make a league, and one invited team refuses to participate, the whole (friendly) competion can not be alterd, and those days picked out to hold the competion become "unavailable" to other friendlies. Even in the pre-season the same happens with the first team. Can somebody tell me whether i am doing something wrong in the settings, or whether this is a bug. I am playing FM06, patch 3. By the way, i have just notuced that i have sold my only goalkeeper... being ****ed and playng FM don't go together...

I'm not sure I agree with what you say about being drunk and playing FM not going together well.
DM (Drunk Management) is immensely entertaining at times, particularly so when you load up the game the following day to find out you've signed a player you'd never even heard of previously, or sold the wrong one of two players with the same name.

that happened to me several times already, i have some (wothless) players which i never realised that i've signed... i though it was a bug but now you're saying it was the alcohol???

I seem to get too angry during DM and reload the next day with players sacked, unhappy with not being paid for the last two months by finings or undertaking training to be my next great goalkeeper!

I remember once playing DM - think it was about CM 97/98 - went a certain team that shouldn#'t of done anything in its league - checked the next day after about 4 hours drunken play to find myself 2nd in the league half way through, continued hungover and finished 12th
