Default Hucknall Town

Hucknall Town - Season 2006/07

English Conference North

Took over with a reasonably sized squad which was largely filled with surpluses, offloaded 8 on free transfers and brought in 4 experienced heads and a couple of youngsters on loan. Expected to attain a respectable league position by the fans and board, Media estimated 12th. Half way through I was lounging around 18th, safely out of relegation, long way from top half. The remaining 20 games saw us go on a run in which we only lost 2 games winning 14 and drawing 4. With 3 games to go we were second, 3 points off, we won, they won, 2 games to go, we won, they lost, last game we beat them to finish top and achieve a place in the Conference National.

Hucknall Town - Season 2007/08

English Conference National

Had a decent squad which needed strengthening but had a good basis of players which could keep us up. unsuprisingly we were relegation candidates with the Media placing us to finish 23rd. The Board and Fans expected us to fight bravely which in truth was all they could hope for. With 10 games gone we were top of the table with my on loan striker bagging 8. I thought League football was certain however we fell apart after our striker broke his leg and captain leaving after a bid the board decided to accept. We fell down a few places and hovered between 6th and 10th for the remainder. Pleased with 9th but going for glory next year.

Hucknall Town - Season 2008/09

English Conference National

Optimistic was the word as we were predicted a respected 5th, the board and the fans wanting respected positions, I wanted the title. Signed the on loan striker from last season for a club record 36k after selling my two aging wingers for 12k and 24k respectively. 15 games in, top of the league by 8 points and we ran away with it clinching the title with 5 games to spare. I was offered a job at Grimsby who had just been relgated from League One inot the division I was heading for, rejected it.

Now, I'm confused.

You posted another thread today in which you said you were playing Montrose as an "LLM Virgin", and yet you now have three seasons played with Hucknall which, presumably, you're expecting us to believe have been played in the LLM Spirit.

I await your explanation with interest.

Earlier today you'd just done one season with Montrose and were wondering whether to continue and within 90 minutes you've completed three seasons at Hucknall? Sounds a bit strange to me but KUTGW
