How do you guys go about with signings in LLM in FM, I always find first season I may struggle as cant bring in best players but once it ends and free transfers available I can boost my squad. Not until i move into premiership with these teams do I start paying money for players wondering what it is like for others?

I'd suggest a good intensive read of the forum rules and headers.

I am assuming you use the player search screen. This isn't LLM. LLM players only use their scouts to find players. Furthermore they scout where they can tour. Obviously if you play against a player in your league a number of times you could probably get away with not scouting but don't take me on that I am a LLM Amateur.

Hey man the free transfers I sign are players that I have scouted, I do a lot of scouting over the season, as I stated I feel brining in these players who were freed, become a free transfer etc, is the best way to move forward, as whenever I get any money as I move up the leagues, I am very reluctant to spend it.

It's the bit about WHEN I move into the Premiership with these teams that kind of gives an un LLM flavor to the rest of it.

Sort of 2+2 = 4 kind of thing.

Of course I could be completely wrong, but I'm suspicious by nature.

I agree with you on that. I would say the LLM jury is still out on you Mickyboy. I believe it still is on me as well but a LLM would not even consider the Premiership. From what I have seeen the majority of LLM players would be grateful just to get to the Conference let alone all the way to the Premiership. Can I also guess that WHEN you get to the Champion's League Final you regularly beat your opponents with your non player search screen squad?

Whose ever got into the championship league final? only with Tottenham do I do that well.

It is Champion's League not Championship League. Plus some very successful games have reached it by a combination of luck, skills bribery of match officials(the last was a joke).

And final proof that you are not playing LLM. Tottenham Hotspur are in the Premiership and therefore it is nowhere near LLM. I would suggest collecting your coat and leaving.

Prussian King, do you not think it's possible that Micky did well with a team, earned much success and attracted the attention of higher teams like the Spurs? I know that I personally don't always stay at one team for a whole save.

I don't think it is likely that he got to the Premiership without breaking LLM rules on the way.
