I recently attempted to start a new game with a CFA League in France, but when I went to select the team it was not accessible. Is this the game or my machine?
And yes I did have CFA selected as playable.

The CFA was introduced to solve some problems with promotions to the National, which apparently appeared in previous versions. You cannot start the game with a team in the CFA, so it's okay if you start your LLM game in the National.
The CFA is still playable, because you can be relegated into it and not be sacked, so you can holiday for a year, then take over a team relegated from the National before the tables reset.
