I am currently managing Torhout 1992 KM , 3rd div A in belgium.
Well , here is my story ^^
2006/2007
Media prediction : 16th
Board : Fight against relegation
Did not do very well first season , we finished 11th without ever playing really good
Transfers IN : 5 for free , 4 on loan
Transfers OUT : 1 for 2k
Final position :
11th - 9 - 9 - 12 - 53 - 60 - -7 - 36
Cups :
knocked out in our 1st game of the belgian cup (round 4)
2007/2008
Media prediction : 11th
Board : Avoid relegation
Wonderfull season , had some good transfers incoming and some of my standards did play a fantastic season with good averages, and that's what has brought us to PROMOTION !
Transfers in : 5 in for 5k , 4 on loan
Transfers out : 11 contracts not renewed
I was Manager of the year in div 3 A , #1 and 2 in top-3 players of the year , #1 and #2 in talents of the year and topscorer scoring 20 goals last season
We had a year with ups and downs (more downs then ups tbh) , Were in 6th spot at half of the season but then everything started going wrong , lots of red cards , much injuries and we finally ended 15th but it could have been a lot worse
Transfers in : 11 for 0€ , 2 on loan
Transfers out : 15 contracts expiring
Final position :
15th - 34 - 10 - 7 - 17 - 48 - 60 - -12 - 37
Cups :
Survived 2 rounds , untill a premier division team kicked me out ^^

Torhout, one day in a small belgian town... Post #2
Maybe we are so used to seeing one-digit players roam our "stadia" that we are naturally drawn toward LLM? After all a player who can actually hit a ball in the right direction on Belgian fields is like world peace. Sure, it would be nice, but it's a bit unrealistic, isn't it.
Hurray for the Belgian -23's tough, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

btw, I wish I could be near Torhout, in say a week or so .
If you are talking about the Torhout/Werchter-festival, they canceled the Torhout part a few years ago, so it's going to be rather quiet there next week.

I said near Torhout, and as far as I know, Werchter is still near Torhout. And alas, no I'm not going, tickets were sold out before I knew for sure I wasn't going to have exams during the period.

Erm, no, Werchter isn't exactly near Torhout, actually.
