Yes, but how would you know who to search? if you knew, then you had to gain some knowledge of him as there isn't much reporting on lowest leagues in daily newspapers anywhere.
In game, you have three ways for such knowledge. One is by your scout finding him, you could have heard about him in the news, or you know him from previous games. The last is not an option IRL. Also, I do not believe that RL managers do sign a player only because he was mentioned in the news. they have him scouted first.

Thus, who cares if PFA has a list of players as you would need a scout to point out which player you wish to search anyway!

You can use the list to bring players in on trail

Player information would be available from the PFAs who's who guide there's a similar publication for non legaue football but I forget what it's called

There is a points system in most of the nationals down to conference level

Also their is non league paper which does points ratings down to conf n/s

Also has detailed reports down to step four (ryman 1 n/s, southern league s/w etc) which give a star man

I know for a fact that Billericays IRL manager use the non league daily to find decent players playing at a lower level and then sends people out to have a look at the lad

I'm closing this (yet another thread trying to justify stuff) before it degenerates into an argument.

RTF...we've had 10 years of this, discussion to begin with, guidelines are in place, either use the Search Screen or don't.

It's covered in the Guidelines, perhaps you should read them.
