hey marc, noticed you made a reply today so i take it your back of yur holidays s are you any coser in completion of the editor?

I'm not back from my holidays until around the 6th of January - however I'm sporadically working/online at the moment anyway ...

Unfortunately I don't have access to the full development suite here or testing facilities so I can't make any further progress on the editor currently (at the moment I've fixed everything the testers have raised - however it obviously requires a whole new bundle of tests run on it now I've changed its code base).

Marc, can you give us any clues on what the editor will let us do? is it just an easier way of txt editing or will it let us do more? also. do you know if it gets round the players names changing bug?

The editor wraps things into a pretty GUI basically so you don't have to use a text editor and can search for players/clubs whatever etc. which makes things considerably simpler.

(unfortunately it doesn't get around the names changing bug - for which reason names editing (players) isn't present in the editor)

Yes it shows the CA/PA of players and suchlike so you've them as an easy reference .... no cheating now though chaps pls

Yes you can load a file at any time and it'll 'accumulate' on top of other changes you've done.

This makes merging a collection of such files easier to do.
