Changing Epanyol's full name to just "Espanyol" makes everything work down to Alan Thompson.

Will try and work out why it is stopping there.

Just started a new game and took out Espanyols full name and they worked a treat just like you said but ive noticed the following players have become free agents even though thy are down with clubs, any ideas why?

Mikkel Bischoff
Djibril Cisse
Danny collins
Hernan Crespo
Tim Howard
Paul Ince
Niclas Jensen
Chris Kirkland

Are the squads of the clubs that they are joining full at that point?

No, andersen and bischoff moved to Brondby, Cisse marseille, Collins to Wolves, Crespo to Inter, Howard to Everton, Ince to Maccesfield, Jensen to Viborg and Kirkland to Wigan.

Crespo, Cisse, Howard and Kirkland are already on loan at the clubs they are transfered to. Has that got anything to do with it?

Sure is. As far as i know u cant edit loan moves in any way

when i search with the Filter, found only 2 players of this team and no one from Fenerbahce or Galatasaray..

how can i make transfers to other clubs? dont work
