(For manual editing).
I have followed all of the steps to the manual editing, but when I go into the new game, it just seems to have ignored the changes.txt file.
Do I need to load or something? If so, where, and how?

When you save your edited changes as what ever you want, you need to start a new career then choose your own edited file rather than the default one.

click to close the editor. It will ask if you want to save changes. save them as a different name. when you start a new game it'll ask what editor file ou want to play.

Not sure what Gwilso is saying...
U need to make sure that your changes.txt is in the PSP\COMMON\FMH folder on your memory stick. If it still doesnt work then the problem is with the changes.txt itself

I've tried editing the way it says, but when i start a new game it loads half way and then pauses. any ideas anyone?

there's probably an error in your "change.txt" file

Thats changes.txt. And if it doesnt finish loading then there is probably a problem with the actual file rather than whats in it. Did you do it in notepad?

No, i've been using 'TextEdit' which is a program on the Mac
