this is insane now...tevez against nottingham...45 mins 4 goals 1 assist and he gets a dam 9 rating..ok fine for hattriks you dont get but for 4 goals AND an assist??? not even tap ins..two 25 yarders!!

This has been brought up before. It is possible, it is just very, VERY, rare. Probably just needs a tweak, dunno if SI changed it in the new patch hopefully out next week, we'll just have to see.

On my game Lulinha has had a few 10's mainly when hes scored 4+ goals in a match.

I had one guy get a 10 rating ..kallon AMC scored 2 goals in the 1st half another in the 2nd and set up 1 goal also,So it is possible but very rare.

Like everyone else has said, it is possible.
You can't just rate someones performance on how many goals or assists they get, its their whole performance.
But i still do agree it does need to be tweaked a little.

I've had several 10 ratings on FM08, but never for a player that didn't get at least a hat-trick. It's good that they are rarer now, a ten should be seen as a near perfect performance with near minimal mistakes - and this rarely happens.

The only reason I can think of for Tevez not getting a 10 in the match you mentioned is if he made some kind of howler in it that affected his rating. Either that or the quality of opposition was taken into account (if Forest aren't in the Premiership in the current season you are playing and the odds of them winning were ridiculously high) - It still sounds a little wrong though that he didn't get 10 for that performance though.

i think assists are more important than goals.. in my opinion that is..

but i did see it, and many times the opponent goalkeepers got that!

i keep attacking and creating chances but they keep saving my shots.. so.. i dont think its a bug, it does happen at times in football.

i remembered man utd vs blackburn when friedel kept the balls out every time. so..

anyways, to me assists is more important to get that perfect 10.
