oh, and Chris McCready got one, rare for a defender, i think he scored 2 and kept a clean sheet.

i recently had my only one in 3 seasons, after 5 goals and an assist in a 6-0, amazingly just before, i was under pressure to drop the player. i didn't even get it after a 9-0 international victory, although the glory was spread around in that instance. 9's aren't too frequent either.

I've seen a few 10's. Not many though, but that's probably the way it should be.

My reserves lost a game 9-1. Many of them got 2's!!!

And anyway, get a Sunday paper, or Monday paper or whatever.
Look at all the match ratings and you never see a 10.
I've seen it once or twice IRL and I've bought every bloody newspaper since 1990-ish.

They're more rare than you might think.

i wouldn't die if my players didn't get 10's ratings as long as i get the win that i deserve. But the thing that i'm sort of dislike is that whenever a player makes a costly mistake, his rating will never recovers no matter how well he does after that.

I've seen a couple 10's, the opposition team didn't load and it was a total rout, 52-0

From what I've seen, though, this isn't so much an issue in 08 as it was in 07. I recently had a match where Pique made a big error early on but went to get a rating of 7 after a generally good match after.

I've never had a 10, which is fair enough because players rarely have a perfect game. Thgat to me would require, doing everything right, tackles, passes, everything.

9's are pretty rare in my game too, I've probably had about 5 in 3/4s of my current season, and I'm in 4th place in the leage with Atletico.
