An airplane crash morbide? A little yes. But it is happening in reality…

And for legal complains…

I don’t think that some player his wife would be angry at him due she was reading he was cheating her in FM2008.
Hey, it’s a game!

It would just bring some more realism in the game and it is easy to implement.

And admit, it could be humorous as well…

Barthez had a fight recently with a fan. And Cantona at Manchester once did the same.

Sometimes players really go berserk!!!

There are already too many areas where attempts at "realism" have taken away from the game play aspect.

Taking 10 seasons to build up a really good team full of players I like and then suddenly getting a news item one day telling me my whole team just died in a plane crash is certainly not going to enhance my enjoyment of the game

Terrible idea.

There is no place for things like this in this game, particularly as it's rated 3+.

It would not add to the game in any way except to make it at time rediculous.

And the legal ramifications of, for example, Beckham becoming a druggy or wifebeating alcoholic in the game would be catastrophic. SI would never be given licenses to use real players again.

A big :thdn: from me.

No no. It would be more that Victory is beating him when he's busted while cheating with some underwear top model.

There are, 100% definitely legal ramifications so it would never happen. Whilst it would be funny for a while, I'm sure it would wear off quite quickly when ur two strikers won't play with each other cos one of them slept with the other ones wife! So, for me, it would not improve the game. And anyway, in my experience there is a lot more 'player x dislikes player y' in FM08 anyway.

What 3 year old plays a simulation footie manager anyways?
I thought I saw a post where a guy had one of his players staying out late at night, it's probably still in the first page it was titled the new George Best or something.
I think the player was a regen so maybe SI is making a tentative step in that direction but just with regens Im sure.
It would be cool too if they had an option to turn certain aspects on if you wished, it would be sort of like the fake inc files.
All german teams and players are there but then are covered up with a file, so maybe they could do the same with more the more off-colour behaviours? I for one would use it as Im sure itd bring more realism and a better, fuller experience.
But a definite no to deaths and extreme violence, that's just not so hot! (as im sure Paris would agree with me on this one)

Yes forgot about that, I want to know more too, is that some sort of satanic ritual or something?

Nobody is drunk on training
This is actually hinted to in the game. A player might miss a training session and your staff will alert you to the fact that "he was seen leaving the pub at a late hour".

I'm also interested to hear more about those "dance temples"
