Default Can we PLEASE have an option to ask the asst manager for advice?

I just underwent my annual mid season collapse (on the fringes of the play-offs then dropping like a stone into the bottom three. Happens every year)

My form was:

LLLLDLLLWDLLLDWLLD

So, unable to bring myself to watch my inevitable relegation, I went on holiday and let my asst manager take over for the last five games.

W (2-0)
W (2-0)
W (4-0) away at a top seven side
L (2-1)
W (2-0)

Finished safely.

Now the guy was playing the same formation as me, the same team as me and was doing the teamtalks anyway.

So, what was the difference, and why can't I ask him what he did differently?

If I'd have gone on holiday in December for the rest of the season, we'd have won the League.

afaik they will do tactical changes in the match screen, not the normal tactics screen. therefor you might not obviously see tactical changes, which can even include an entirely different formation.

In which cas, how realistic that my assistant manager (A man I employed who works for me) can do something and not even tell me about it!

He's clearly doing something right that I can't seem to suss out.

So why can't I call him into my office and get him to, say, sort out the individual player instructions?

You should have been relegated like a man.

I thought I was.

Apparently I have a master tactician in the back room who won't tell my anything.

Does he have higher reputation than you?

Also, could be that some of the players like him, causing morale to rise.

He's actually the same assistant manager that Macc has got now.

Currently Ian Brightwell and Asa Hartford work together.

In the game, I can't ask Asa anything about tactics at all.

I think you should get the sack and your ass manager should get the job if you want it to be more realistic.

It's getting more common now that an inexperienced manager will hire an experienced assistant.

That would be great if the assitant could tell you a few things more i.e don't think you should be doing certain things. Nothing worse when you start losing and you just can't put your finger on it. At the moment the Assitant is more like a personal assitant.
