Started a new game as middlesbrough - fancied a game as a small prem club. Woodgate starts injured and he gets fit about two games in, i decide to give him a reserve game to get him some fitness as he has missed pre season, i then choose to watch the reserve game, leaving the managing to my assistant.
At the start of the game the pre match info says "what is the manager thinking selecting woodgate in goal?" I look at the line up and woodgate is in goal, my reserve anthony acribe is on the bench, preston edwards and ross turnball aren't even in the 16 but are both in my reserves and neither are injured or suspended.
After 1 min wigan score, and woodgate is taken off for scribe. So woodgate gets no match practice.
So i checked out assistant managers profile, he isn't great so i sacked him.
I am very happy with the rest of the game but this sucks!
