Like many of the fans complaining about the "bug", i am kind of struggling to convert my chance into goal too.

However, i like the challenge present in the game now and i don't mind to work it out really hard in order to success. But, it will be meaningless if i actually spend my effort to overcome a "bug" which i can never win.

Therefore, if you think you have overcome this "goal scoring/one on one" bug, could you please post here?

You dont have to give any detail but as you post here we will know it is actually "workable" to beat that so called "bug". This will give great support to many who are struggling as we know the task is just very difficult and require real effort.

Great post i wonder how many people who are saying they have no problems scoring will post something ( player instruction maybe ). And another thing if someone knows how you score from distance i would like to know. Thanks

I also recognise this "bug", and mainly relating to one-on-one with the keeper. I've no suggestions here I'm afraid and would be interested to see if anyone else has got around it, just like you. :thup:

With regards to long shots, if I'm lucky enough to have a player with long-shots rating of 18 or over, then they the only ones who are tagged to do this "often" on the individual player tactics. Everyone else is set on "mixed", including defenders.

Seems to work well enough for me and have a reasonable enough ratio of long shots. I play a short passing game and my team generally tends to play it's way to goal. Using my long shooter as a target man around the the edge of the box is reasonably successful for me too.

What do you mean by solved the bug? If you mean converting almost all your chances into goals then I've not found a solution.

Have still had a successful season with Man Utd, winning league and FA Cup and losing in Champs League final on extra time. Seemed to recall scoring plenty of goals too.

Just persevere with it, make sure your defence is nice and tight and keep tweaking things, you'll start scoring plenty.

I've basically tweaked by focus passing to down both flanks and concentrated on scoring off crosses instead of one on ones.
This works surprisingly well for my arsenal team. Amazingly enough, i score more one on ones ever since i've made the change.
