It seems a bit strange but my possession hardly get beyond 55% (Usually only 45%) even though I won with 4-0 or 5-0

I guess it has to do with playing mentality, passing style, tempo and etc.

there's a flaw in the match engine that sees smaller teams pass the ball around at the back a lot against bigger teams, with the bigger team failing to close them down at all. generally this leads to opposition full backs and defensive midfielders racking up stupidly large numbers of passes, so checking the opposition's player stats will generally tell you if this bug is happening or not

as with many things, it's related to the dodgy match engine ai regarding closing down
