nope. first season with liverpool and neither torres nor crouch have scored once from that position... tried to change around individual tactics and stuff but to no avail...
Near post corners are a known issue. From being scored way too freaquently prepatch they are now completly useless. Too bad they didn't tweak them to be flick ons instead of lousy goalattempts.

Between that and some other poster noticing you're better off with standard tactics, you have to wonder what the point is. Game seems to have been reduced more to 'pick the default tactic and let the game play itself', i.e. why bother having human interaction at all?
John Terry, when set to attack near post, scores plenty. He does have good attributes. I think you need a really good set piece taker taking the corner and a really good header/jumper in that position.
Don't use anyone on 'near post flick ons' . Instead aim your corners into the 6 yard box and have 3-4 players attack the ball and one standing on the far post.
