What if we don't have huge logos for a given league but only have small ones? Will that affect the game?

What if I want to eliminate existing huge logos? Will this cause any problem with the game, or will it simply use the small logos instead?

If you don't have logos for certain teams the game will display the default logos.

If you have deleted the default logos then the game will show your nations logo in place of the club/default logos.

Thanks for the information. Just in case anyone is wondering, you can simply copy your logo files from FM 2006 into the 'normal' logos area for FM 2007. They will appear in the game quite nicely. This is excellent for all the clubs whose logos were not included with the game.

However, if you want the huge and small logos as well, then you will have to create those. But for someone like me, who had logos for clubs in about three dozen nations for FM 2006, it's nice that we don't have to create anything anew. The old config.xml files still work for the normal logos too.

so when adding player pics what kinda folder do i create is it the same as above ie Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\graphics or do i do nething different.

could u clear this up for me plus do i put all my custom graphhics in this folder like comp logos, club logos, shiney flags etc please help me

Since these seem to keep coming up ... if I'm making any nasty mistakes with these instructions please let me know:

HOW TO INSTALL A FACEPACK

1. Unzip each downloaded folder into "CDocuments and Settings\<your name>\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\skins"
(all custom data should be stored here: if stored with the default game files it may be overwritten by patches)

2. Run FM 2007 and either load a saved game or start a new game. Once loaded, open "Preferences" from the "Options" menu.

3. Under "Display & Sound" untick "Use Skin Cache" and tick "Always Reload Skin On Confirm".

4. Confirm your new preferences. The facepack should now be loaded.


HOW TO INSTALL A CUSTOM MANAGER PHOTO FOR YOURSELF (including saved games)

1. Get a photo of yourself, cropped to 95x95 and saved in PNG format (you can edit a normal digital camera or webcam photo in MS Paint).

2. Put the file in with the regen photos:
(CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\data\graphics\pictures\players\normal\regens)

3. Edit the regen CONFIG.XML file, adding the following line to the bottom of the list:
"<record from="PHOTO FILENAME GOES HERE" to="graphics/pictures/person/YOUR NAME DD-M/portrait"/>"

Example (assuming your name is Fred Bloggs, your birthdate is 19 May, and your file is fredbloggs.png):
"<record from="fredbloggs" to="graphics/pictures/person/fred bloggs 19-5/portrait"/>

4. Run FM 2007 and either load a saved game or start a new game. Once loaded, open "Preferences" from the "Options" menu.

5. Under "Display & Sound" untick "Use Skin Cache" and tick "Always Reload Skin On Confirm".

6. Confirm your new preferences. The photo should now be loaded.

i have save all liverpool players pic including mine...but d problem is that only my pic is in d game but not my player..and my pic is in JPG format...can anyone help???!!

I've had success with player photos (big and small), logos and kits by putting them in the corresponding spots in the application folder. I tried putting them in the user/documents/si/wwsm 2007 folder, but they did not work there. Stadium backgrounds did work by putting them in the user.... folder.
