Default Creating backgrounds from pics on your PC

I have some pics that I have downloaded that I wanted to make into backgrounds that come up on the team information screen. Also I have some stadiums that I want to add in. I tried saving the pics in the appropriate folder and renaming them with the clubs unique ID's but this hasnt worked. Any ideas??

If I were you I'd just download someone elses background pack for the same league you have got your pictures for.

Extract it, Then replace their pics with the pics you want to use. Remember to rename your pics to whatever they have called theirs.

You can then install the pack in the usual way.

Backgrounds:

Some packs only come with pics that show on matchday, It'll probably say if this is the case in the read-me. Its easy enough to edit the config, I or someone else on here will probably have the config lines for you to copy and paste if need be.

You could create a danish third folder and put the pic(s) in there.

Take a copy of another config from another pack and put that in as well.
Right click and edit the config, deleting all the lines that relate to other clubs and insert the following line:

<record from="arsenal" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/5114336/background"/>

Just change "arsenal" to whatever you have called your picture (include quotes)
and change the 5114336 to whatever the stadium ID is for your team.
That'll make the pic show on matchday

To make the pics show on team screens add a further line:
<record from="arsenal" to="graphics/pictures/team/602/background"/>

Again, change "arsenal" to the pic you want to use and change 602 to the team ID. This is oftern different to stadium IDs and can also be found using the editor.

So, you can have two pics for each team if you wish. Continue adding lines in this way if you want to add others from that league.

You will need to reload your graphics after doing the changes (untick use "skin cache"/tick "always reload on confirm" in prefs.) They, hopefully, would show up when you then load your saved game.

That still didnt work - my team is now in the Premier Div so do I put the pics in the same Premier league folder or still in the 3rd div folder?

Yes did this, but now I only have one of the pics that comes up as my team information screen and matchday background. I used the config file wording as per your post too.

Any ideas on how to get one of my pics to come up in the team info screen and the other to come up on matchday??

Say you wanted a pic of inside the emirates stadium to appear during a match but wanted a pic of the Arsenal team to appear on all the other team screens.

You would need two pics in the folder, one pic of the stadium called arsenal and one of the team called arsenal2. The config lines would look like this:

<record from="arsenal" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/5114336/background"/>
<record from="arsenal2" to="graphics/pictures/team/602/background"/>

That would make the game show the "arsenal" pic during matches only and the "arsenal2" pic on team screens.
