I was wondering if there is a way of using background pictures ONLY when a match is played? Because I have downloaded a great Stadium Background Collection, but it is on all the time - for example if I watch Arsenal's squad, their stadium is on the background.. It is a bit distracting, because the pictures don't have the right contrast to everything else.. Thats why I would like to use these background pictures on match-day only.. Is it possible guys?
Delete all the lines that include "team" but leave the lines that say "stadium". Save the config and re-install the pack (untick "use skin cache", tick "always reload on confirm")
There are alot of those lines - if I delete "team/", then as you say the background of the team has gone - but the stadium pictures isnt shown either when the match is on.. :-/
I tried to set it like this:
graphics/pictures/team/505/background
But that didnt work either - still no background picture when playing game..
I've seen a few packs where the ID numbers are incorrect. As an example, heres the correct line for an Arsenal "team" pic.
<record from="arsenal" to="graphics/pictures/team/602/background"/>
And heres a line for the "stadium" lines for Matchday.
<record from="arsenal" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/5114336/background"/>
You'll notice the numbers are different. This is because some clubs have different IDs for team/stadium and some have the same. If you tell us the league I'll just paste the config lines here. (assuming Ive got the league)
Also, after doing the alterations to the config where was the match played when you tested it? Was it in a "new" (in-game) stadium? eg New Anfield?
Thanks for the help, now it works. I think the reason why it didnt work before was because (like you said) different IDs for team/stadium.
I would like the ID numbers for every stadium in almost every league. Isnt there a way I can find them myself? It might be too much trouble for you finding all these many numbers
You could use the fm editor, do a search for each individual club, click on its stadium details, make a note of its ID then incorporate the ID number into the config.
I believe about 90% of the team and stadium numbers are the same though .
Or you could just download different packs for the leagues you have active/want.
Personally, Ive got about 20 stadium only packs and if you are after any of the larger league stadium IDs I'll paste them here for you. Im only sitting here watchin Hells Kitchen after all ha ha.
